Places I've Seen: Poland
You don't need to quit your job to travel the world, sometimes your company takes you out there.
Last year I was lucky to have been sent to Malaysia for work ( CLICK HERE & HERE ). This year I was sent to Poland for a busness trip! I didn't even see this coming! Going to Europe was never in my 20s timeline. I did plan this in my later life- like in my 30s or 40s or when I win the lottery or those scratch cards that me and my mom always buy when we're at the mall lol. But golly gee damn great I went to Europe in my late 20s.
The very first thing that I thought of was winter. Winter is coming. My first winter experience. Snow. Elsa. Anna. Frozen. Skiing. Yep I was super duper stoked!
Going to Poland was like stepping into a whole new world. Why you may ask? Because there'S no rice. Instead of rice they had mashed potatoes or potatoes partnered with meat. I did last three days before going to an asian food store across our office hoho. Plus I had to wear layers of clothes because it was -5 degrees Celsius when we were there. It has become a routine to take off our coats, scarves and gloves when we were inside of the office then wear them all again when we went out for lunch.
One week is not enough to experience the whole of Warsaw but hey at least I was here.
Cheers to frozen bums and polish donuts,
